Hi, I’m Maria.

With a proven track record in senior leadership roles, I have driven talent and leadership development in large multinational organisations across industries like iGaming, Banking, and Manufacturing. I now lead Made From Within, a CPD-accredited development provider, as the Founder & Managing Director.

I’m a dual-accredited Senior Practitioner Coach and Coaching Supervisor (Coach of Coaches) with the European Mentoring and Coaching Council (EMCC), a certified Professional Life Coach, and an award-winning mentor. Throughout my career, I’ve enabled countless individuals achieve personal and professional breakthroughs.

I hold a Doctorate from the University of Glasgow, where my research focused on leadership development in large international companies. Drawing on this expertise, I design development programmes that build leadership capabilities and drive organisational performance. 

With a Master’s in Psychology and Neuroscience of Mental Health from King’s College London, the second-best institution in the world in this field, I bring deep insight into cognitive and behavioural change.

I’m the author of Leaders Made from Within: The Blueprint for Developing Leadership in Individuals and Organisations, a book that has earned expert endorsements and achieved global sales across Amazon’s marketplaces. 

I was named HR Diversity Champion on the 2023/2024 Global Diversity List, featured in The Guardian, an award recognising sustained impact in advancing workplace inclusion. I also founded Malta’s first national D&I network and currently serve as Vice-Chair of ACM-Women Malta, part of the Association for Computing Machinery, the world’s largest organisation advancing computing among underrepresented groups.

Beyond consulting, training, and coaching, I actively contribute to global thought leadership. I’ve published in respected international journals and delivered talks worldwide.
